Kochi: Othor AI, an artificial intelligence-powered business intelligence startup registered with the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), has raised ₹60 lakh in a bridge funding round.
The latest investment takes Othor AI’s total early-stage funding to ₹1.5 crore.
The bridge funding round in Othor AI saw participation from existing investors as well as new angel investors, according to the company.
Founded in September 2024 by Unni Koroth and Nekender Shekhawat, Othor AI is building an AI-native business intelligence platform designed to offer a faster and more secure alternative to conventional business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Looker.
The latest investment round in Othor AI included angel investors such as Amit Ashu, a former colleague of Unni Koroth at technology company Whatfix; Avinash Kumar of EasyShip; and Balasubrahmanyan Sridhara of NVIDIA.
Amit Ashu has also joined Othor AI as its Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Othor AI platform focuses on AI-native business intelligence
The OthorAI platform enables organisations to connect their data sources without coding, analyse information, and generate reports and insights within minutes.
The company positions its product as an AI-native business intelligence solution for enterprises seeking faster data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Unni Koroth, Chief Executive Officer of Othor AI, said: “The fact that our existing investors chose to invest again, while new angel investors also joined us, is the strongest vote of confidence a young startup can receive.”
He added: “The bridge round gives us the strength to further refine our product, expand customer adoption and enter our upcoming seed funding round from a stronger position.”

Othor AI to use funds for product development and US market expansion
According to the company, the fresh capital raised by OthorAI will be used to extend its financial runway, accelerate product development, expand customer acquisition efforts, and prepare for an upcoming seed funding round.
The funding will also support OthorAI’s groundwork for entering the US market as part of its international expansion plans.
Before founding OthorAI, Unni Koroth had founded Foradian, which is recognised as a success story in the Indian startup ecosystem.
After exiting Foradian in 2019, he spent three years at Whatfix before launching OthorAI.
